John 5:16-47

1.    [16-20a] Why did the Jewish leaders persecute Jesus? (15-16, 18;Cf. 10) Why was Jesus doing these things on the Sabbath? (17) Why did they try to kill Jesus all the more? (18) How did Jesus detail the relationship between him and God the Father (19)? Why was such an intimate relationship in working (20a)?
