Strive for full restoration (2 Cor 12b-13q)

2 Cor 12:11-13:14
Key Verse 13:11a

  1. [12:11-13] What is Paul’s conclusion on his defense for his apostolate (11-12)? Where and what is the proof of this? (13)
  2. [14-18] On the third visit, what will he not do (14a) and what will he do(15a)? Why(14b)? In the past how did he and his companions do in this regard (16-18a)?  Why (18b)? What does this confirm about the way of his apostleship? 
  3. [19-21] What was the purpose of this (ch. 10-13) discourse (19)? What were his fears as he looked forward seeing them face-to-face (20-21)?
  4. [13:1-4] In the forthcoming visit, what would the ground of his decision (1)? Why? In this visit what would Paul do (13:2b)? How decisive would his action be (2a)? Why? (3a) Why was such action warranted? (3b-4)
  5. [13:5-10] As the final checkup, what did Paul suggest them to do? (5) In such reexamination, what Paul wanted them to find and to do? (6-7) Why? (8) What is the purpose of this writing? (9-10)
  6. [11-14]  Discuss notwithstanding such discord and distrust, how we can live out each of these exhortations (11; Cf. 10, 12, 19b), share the affection of the greeting(12-13), In such efforts, how should the benediction play out in our lives(14)
