Ruth 3:1-18

don’t be afraid. I will do for you all you ask.

do (2b-4)? For what purpose and why (1-2a)? What was Ruth’s answer (5)? How did she follow up Ruth’s direction (6-7)?
Discuss what might be the difficulties and how she could overcome the
difficulties (Cf. 3:8, 11; Ref. 1:17; Gen 38:13-15,24)

[8-10] Why was Boaz startled (8, 9a)? What was
Ruth’s answer (9bc: Cf. 3:1)? How did Boaz take her challenge (10a)? What did
he mean by ‘which you showed earlier’ (10b; Ref. 2:11)?

[11-14] What did he say to her and why
(11)? What arrangement did he make for
her safe return (13a, 14)? What did he tell her about his will to redeem her
(12-13)? What does this tell us about
Boaz? Discuss this in regard to his character, will, and compassion.

[15-18] The next morning. how did Boaz send her
back (15, 17b)? When Naomi heard all that had happened, what did she say
(16-18)?
