The rising sun will come to us from heaven (Luke 1bq)

1.       [39-45] What did Mary do then and why? (39-40) When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, what happened to her? (41,44) What did she exclaim about Mary and her baby? (42-44) Discuss the nature and source of Elizabeth's, her baby's, and Mary's joy.  How could it be possible? (45)
2.       [46-56] What changes came about in Mary's soul and spirit? (46-47) Why? (48a)  What are the great things done for her? (49) What's its significance for her? (48b)  What did she come to understand through this experience? (50-55)
3.       [57-66] What was people's response when Elizabeth gave birth to a son? (57-58) How would Zachariah and Elizabeth like to name their son? (59-63) Why? (Cf. 1:13) What happened to Zechariah then? (64) How did people respond and why? 6.       Please find a similarity between what each of these three people, Elizabeth, Mary, and Zechariah, came to see and feel as they faced the coming of Jesus and its significance.
